This print is a bijin print. The landscape isn´t the main subject but it´s shown here because it is the earliest confirmed Kunisada print and shows a wonderful landscape in the background.

Shindo writes to this print (page 149): "This is the earliest of Kunisada´s work to be currently confirmed. Although a beauty print, it is introduced here as a reference. However, the patterns on the kimono all relate to actors. It is interesting to imagine which actors Kunisada wished to associate with".
